The aim we have with VS09 and VS16 is that the objects an sich can claim their place in space even without flowers in the vases. The objects play with the laws of gravity and they are seemingly levitating, especially when they are placed on a surface above eyesight. For a minimalistic design object, it’s important to be able to draw the form of the object in just a few lines, which is the case for VS09 and VS16. For both vases, we have designed a sheath which can be retracted in the vase. The usage of the sheath is twofold: when it’s placed in the bigger form, it can be used as a vase for flowers; when it’s retracted upside down in the bigger form, it can be used as a candle holder.

The VS09 is conceived as an object for inside, while the bigger VS16 is conceived as an object for outside which can be put on minimal modern- ist terraces or near the pool.
